Frank M. Bowling is the new senior pastor of Eastmont Baptist Church, Montgomery, the church announced Nov. 4. For the past 14 years, Bowling has served as senior pastor of Medina First Baptist Church, Medina, Tennessee, and has more than 20 years total experience in pastoral ministry.
“We are thankful for Pastor Frank’s passion for teaching God’s Word, as well as his heart for missions and the local church body,” said Brian Key, chairman of Eastmont’s pastor search committee. “The Eastmont family is looking forward to Frank building on the strong foundation built by other ministers at Eastmont.”
The church has been searching for a new pastor since Mike Northcutt retired in June 2019 after 32 years in that role.
Bowling will start his ministry at Eastmont on Dec. 1.
Bowling earned his undergraduate degree from Middle Tennessee State University and has a master of divinity with biblical languages from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Forth Worth, Texas. He is currently pursuing his doctorate of ministry from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.
He and his wife, Gina, have been married for 23 years and have three children — Emma, Eliza, and Joseph.
