Evangelism training conference

Evangelist Terry Veazey of Montgomery, vice president of the Conference of Southern Baptist Evangelists, and three others conducted an evangelism training conference in Calcutta, India, Feb. 15–18. Ninety-six church leaders attended the conference. The event included evangelistic events in schools, churches and open-air venues, exposing thousands to the gospel through music and preaching in the Bengali language. He also trained church leaders and preached an evangelism crusade in Mumias, Kenya, April 5–18.
