Deuteronomy 31:8 — The LORD Himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged 

Psalm 34:18 — The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Psalm 3:3 — But you, LORD, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high.

2 Corinthians 1:3–4 — Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.
