First Church, Hazel Green, will celebrate its 50th anniversary Sept. 25. A meet and greet will be at 9:15 a.m. and morning worship will begin at 10:30 a.m. There will be special music and former pastor Bobby Eads will speak. A potluck lunch will follow the service. Mike Patterson is pastor.
Bethel Baptist Church, Robertsdale, will host a Walk Through Bethlehem event Dec. 13–15, 6–8 p.m.
Palmerdale Cross Baptist Church, Pinson, has brought in Josh Cook to serve as interim pastor.
“Wherever I am,” Pauline Hall of Aliceville said, “that’s my missions field.” She volunteers with a prison ministry for women, has been her church’s pianist for 37 years and was the church’s administrative assistant for 23 years.
Members of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Atmore, prepared 100 Operation Christmas Child boxes after the church hosted a Lottie Moon Christmas Offering kickoff service Nov. 3.
