At First Baptist Church, Montgomery, in Montgomery Baptist Association, Vacation Bible School (VBS) isn’t just for kids anymore.
For several years, First, Montgomery, has held VBS for senior adults, a three-day study led by Kenny Hoomes, associate pastor for spiritual maturity/senior adults at the church.
This year’s senior adult VBS will be held May 18–20, 10 a.m.–noon, and follow the same theme as this year’s children’s VBS: “Boomerang Express,” which involves an imaginary ride across Australia using the Bible to learn of the vastness of God’s love. The church’s VBS for children will be held in June.
