Jamie Baker is the new worship pastor at First Baptist Church Prattville.
He previously served as worship pastor of Hillcrest Baptist Church, Enterprise; El Bethel Baptist Church, Chancellor; and several other churches. He also taught choral music in several schools through the years.
Baker holds a bachelor of music degree and a master of education degree from Auburn University. He and his wife, Cynthia, have four children and one foster daughter.
Bethel Baptist Church, Robertsdale, will host a Walk Through Bethlehem event Dec. 13–15, 6–8 p.m.
Palmerdale Cross Baptist Church, Pinson, has brought in Josh Cook to serve as interim pastor.
Members of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Atmore, prepared 100 Operation Christmas Child boxes after the church hosted a Lottie Moon Christmas Offering kickoff service Nov. 3.
