Finding Jesus in midst of crisis

A word or a deed done in the name of Jesus Christ can bring about a change in the life of someone in crisis.

This is something that Brad Moseley — pastor of First Baptist Church,
Moody — witnessed after the April 2011 storms.

When volunteers from his church refurbished the roof system on one of the hardest-hit houses in that area, the homeowner asked Jesus into his heart.

At another time, a man who had volunteered during the relief effort came to a church service at First, Moody. He asked Jesus to be his Savior and, subsequently, so did the rest of his family. That man in turn led his brother to the saving knowledge of Jesus, Moseley said.
