Q: What led you to remain an active deacon for so many years?
A: I professed faith when I was 9 years old and have stayed active through the goodness of God and all His help. He’s really blessed me a lot.
Q: How are you currently involved?
A: I’m in charge of visitation. I visit the elderly and the sick that are in hospitals or nursing homes. And I call and send out cards on all the birthdays or anniversaries.
Q: What do you get from the ministry?
A: I just enjoy talking to people, and I just try to get the message across with the good Lord’s help.
Q: What does the ministry demand?
A: I’ve been active off and on, but the good Lord has afforded me good health and blessings. And He’s kept me busy. That’s a blessing.
