First Baptist Church, Chatom, anniversary

First Baptist Church, Chatom, will celebrate its 100th anniversary Aug. 23 beginning with a recognition service at 9:45 a.m. that will include a multimedia presentation, guest speakers and a church history presentation. Worship will follow at 11 a.m., followed by dinner on the grounds at noon. At 1:30 p.m., there will be special music and congregational singing. Monte Mills is pastor.
