Two members of First Baptist Church, Pell City, in St. Clair Baptist Association joined eight members of Greensboro Baptist Church in Hale Baptist Association on a missions trip to Ukraine July 14–26. The team went into villages to provide medical assistance and hold evangelistic services.
The services featured music, testimonies and a message from the Bible. During the services, some team members hosted Vacation Bible School (VBS) for the children.
“We visited 20 villages and were able to give out close to 600 pairs of eyeglasses and tons of medication,” said Donna Leonard, a member of First, Pell City, who went on the trip. “It was fantastic.” Close to 100 people made decisions for Christ.
