First Church, Alexander City, new pastor

Joe Turner is the new pastor of First Church, Alexander City. He holds associate, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees in Christian ministry from Southern Baptist School for Biblical Studies in Jacksonville, Fla. He has previously served as pastor of churches in Tennessee, Mississippi and Louisiana since 1991. He and his wife, Belinda, have two children.
