First Church, Citronelle, staff change

Elbert D. Charpie is the new pastor of First Church, Citronelle. He comes to the position from Grace Church, Johnson City, Tenn., where he served as pastor for more than 11 years. Charpie holds a bachelor’s degree from William Carey College in Hattiesburg, Miss., and a master of divinity and a doctor of ministry from New Orleans Seminary. He and his wife, Vickie, have three children.
