Roger Jenkins is the new associate pastor of senior adults and pastoral care for First Church, Decatur. Jenkins is a graduate of Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. He previously served as minister of worship and senior adults at Shelbyville Mills Church, Shelbyville, Tenn. Jenkins and his wife, Cleta, have two daughters. Charles Carter is interim pastor.
