First Church, Florence, staff change

Rickey “Ric” Camp is the new pastor of First Church, Florence. He comes from Sonrise Church, Mobile, where he served as pastor since the church’s founding in 2003. Camp has also served several other churches in Alabama, Florida and Louisiana. He holds an associate’s degree from Snead State Junior College (now Snead State Community College) in Boaz, bachelor’s degree in religion from Samford University in Birmingham, master of religious education from Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, and doctor of educational ministry from New Orleans Seminary. Camp and his wife, Lisa, have two children.
