First Church, Harpersville, special service

First Church, Harpersville, will hold A Day of Honor, a special Veteran’s Day service, Nov. 11, 11 a.m., with army chaplain Lieutenant Colonel Thomas Moody as guest speaker. There will be a presentation of the colors by the Vincent High School ROTC and recognition of attending veterans. Veterans need to R.S.V.P. by calling 205-672-7880. Leon White is interim pastor.
