First Church, Holly Pond, staff change

Benjamin Smothers is the new pastor of First Church, Holly Pond. He comes from Farmstead Church, Jasper, where he served as youth pastor. Smothers is a graduate of the University of Alabama and Mid-America Theological Seminary in Cordova, Tenn. He and his wife, Jada, have one child.
