Jamie Mackey is the new minister to students at First Church, Huntsville, effective Feb. 11. Mackey and his wife, Hope, come to First, Huntsville, from First Church, Fort Payne, where he served as student minister. A native of Centre, he previously served as associate pastor/minister to youth and young adults at Northwoods Church, Chamblee, Ga., and U-2 Missionary Campus Minister for the Home Mission Board at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, Connecticut College and Mitchell College, all in New London, Conn. Mackey received his bachelor of science in secondary education from Jacksonville State University and a master of divinity from Mercer University in Macon, Ga. David Hull is pastor.
