The American Red Cross will conduct training at First Church, Indian Springs, on May 11, 10 a.m.–3 p.m. The training is open to anyone in the Birmingham area and lunch will be provided. This session will train people who may be interested in volunteering at a Red Cross shelter location in the area. Anyone can be trained, but to be approved as a Red Cross volunteer worker an application and background check must be completed and approved at no cost to the volunteer.
