Benjamin S. Stubblefield is the new pastor of First Church, Jackson. He holds a bachelor of science degree in finance and bachelor of arts degree in English from Auburn University, and a master of divinity degree and doctor of philosophy in New Testament interpretation from Southern Seminary in Louisville, Ky. He previously served as a pastor in Indiana and as an instructor at Southern Seminary. He also has served as adjunct faculty member at Boyce College in Louisville, Ky., and as student minister intern at First Church, Orlando, and at Dauphin Way Church, Mobile. He and his wife, Carrie, have one child.
