First Church, Mobile, resigned associate minister

Bart McNiel has resigned as the associate minister and resident pastoral intern of First Church, Mobile, to serve as pastor of Azalea Church, Norfolk, Va. The church will hold a reception in his honor Jan. 6 after the worship service. He and his wife, Stacey, have two children.
