First Church, Mobile, will hold Advent services during the month of December. Poinsetta Sunday will be Dec. 9, the celebration of the Advent wreath will be Dec. 16 and the lighting of the Advent wreath will be Dec. 23. Services will be at 10:55 a.m. First, Mobile, will also host Community Messiah Sing-a-Long Dec. 10, 7 p.m. The event sponsored by Mobile Opera will feature Thomas Rowell, the church’s minister of music.
