First Church, Oakman, anniversary

First Church, Oakman, will celebrate its 125th anniversary Aug. 15, 10 a.m. Former Pastor Randy Johnson will speak. There will be a reading of the church history, video presentation and recognition of former pastors, music ministers and members. Patrick Welch, a church member who recently returned from a missions trip to Guatemala,  also will be recognized. Lunch will follow. Bill Phillips is pastor.
