Charles T. Carter is the new interim pastor of First Church, Pelham. He preaches his first sermon July 13. Carter is pastor emeritus of Shades Mountain Church, Vestavia Hills, and a James H. Chapman Fellow of Pastoral Ministry at Beeson Divinity School of Samford University.
