First Church, Remlap, new pastor

Mark Smith is the new pastor of First Church, Remlap. He most recently served as pastor of Eastside Church, Birmingham, and has served as a pastor in Alabama for more than 30 years. He also serves as Alabama Pastors Conference treasurer. He is a graduate of both Samford University in Birmingham and New Orleans Seminary. He and his wife, Rodna, have two children and one grandchild.
