Johnny Moore is the new pastor of First Church, Sanford, in Andalusia. Moore served in the U.S. Air Force for four years and holds a bachelor’s degree in biblical studies from The Baptist College of Florida in Graceville and a master’s degree in counseling and human development from Troy University. He has previously served in churches in Florida and Alabama, and he worked as a professional counselor in DeFuniak Springs, Fla., and Andalusia before beginning work with the State of Alabama as a vocational rehabilitation counselor. He and his wife, Rhonda, have four daughters and eight grandchildren.
