First Church, Selma, staff change

Jerry W. Light Sr. is the new senior pastor of First Church, Selma. He comes from Fellowship Church, Thomaston, Ga., where he served as pastor. Light holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Mercer University in Atlanta, Ga., master of divinity from New Orleans Seminary and doctor of ministry from Beeson Divinity School at Samford University in Birmingham. He and his wife, Suzanne, have three children.
