First Church, Sylacauga, new pastor

Rick Patrick is the new pastor of First Church, Sylacauga. He will begin June 2. Patrick previously served at Pleasant Ridge Church, Hueytown, for 13 years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Texas in Austin, a master of divinity degree from Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, and a doctor of ministry degree from Dallas Seminary. He and his wife, Karen, have two children.
