Bart Culpepper is the new worship pastor for First Church, Troy. He joins Pastor Luke Lane who came to the church last fall. Culpepper has served as minister of music for North Point Church, Weaverville, N.C., and First Church, Palmetto, Fla. He has also served at First Church, Leroy, and Calvary Church, Abbeville. Culpepper is a graduate of Samford University in Birmingham and Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. He and his wife, Anela, have three children. Lane comes from First Church, Newton, Miss., where he served as pastor. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia in Athens, Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, and Southern Seminary in Louisville, Ky. Lane and his wife, Jennifer, have three children.
