First Church, West Blocton, will celebrate Founders Day Oct. 21, 10:30 a.m., with guest speaker Joel Frederick, pastor of Loveless Park Church, Bessemer. Lunch will follow. There will be a baptismal service at 2 p.m. at the Cahaba River below the Piper Bridge on County Road 24. Robert Praytor is pastor.
