First Scholarship Honoring Judson Professors Awarded

The first annual George C. Williams and Thomas H. Wilson Science Merit Scholarship was awarded to two future students during Judson College’s Alumnae Association business meeting April 5.

The scholarship was established as a tribute to Judson chemistry professor Williams and biology professor Wilson, both of whom have taught at the college for more than 30 years.

Jordan Barlow of Vancleave, Miss., and Alise Hughey of Greensboro were chosen as recipients of the award by the George C. Williams and Thomas H. Wilson Society, comprised of Judson alumni.

Barlow and Hughey will be full-time students of Judson in the upcoming fall semester.
