The book’s author has had a distinguished career as a professional and as an Air Force officer. The Birmingham native and graduate of the University of Alabama now lives in Austin, Texas.

Some Alabamians will be familiar with Bill Bolen, a Birmingham citizen highlighted in this work. Bolen is a member of Brookwood Baptist Church, Mountain Brook, and semi-retired anchor at television station WBRC.
