Judson College’s Students In Free Enterprise team was awarded one of 50 $5,000 grants distributed by The Marcus Foundation in 2005. The team was chosen because of its program to teach entrepreneurial skills to high school seniors in Perry County. The team used the funds to purchase a screen-printing machine for the semester-long program, INKredible Entrepreneurs. The program began Jan. 19 and teaches students the various skills and tasks involved in creating and operating a business.

Senate committee passes education budget, bonus for education retirees
