Denise Gamble began a ministry four years ago called Angel Seed, where she sells merchandise in women’s shows around the Southeast and donated all profits to a Romanian ministry and orphanage.
Q: What led you to this ministry?
A: I had been (in) retail for years. It was really spending time with the Lord and a prompting through the Spirit. For about a month, He kept me seeking what He wanted me to do. I knew that God was birthing something in my heart at that time, and I just made myself available to Him.
Q: What does the ministry demand?
A: Time and a strong back to carry all of the merchandise. Being (involved in) missions does not mean that you have to go somewhere; it just means you have to be willing.
Q: What do you get from the ministry?
A: Satisfaction that I’m being obedient, and that’s really all that matters to me.
Q: How do you see yourself involved in this in the future?
A: I have no idea. I don’t know if God will have me stay with Romania or expand to other places. I don’t try to figure God out. I know He’ll direct when the time comes to change. Until then, I ‘m doing what He’s called me to do.
Q: What differences will ministry make for you in the future?
A: Our heart just keeps growing for missions. When you get involved in something, you realize just how much is out there and how much more you would like to be able to do.
