Gardendale wins state softball tournament

The men of Gardendale’s First Baptist Church took first place in the annual Baptist Men’s State Softball Tournament, held Aug. 4–5 at Lagoon Park and Fain Park in Montgomery. Second place went to Dayspring Baptist Church, Mobile, and third place was a tie between Indian Grave Baptist Church, Billingsley, and Central Park Baptist Church, Decatur.
