Gardendale’s First Church staff change

Kevin J. Hamm is the new pastor of Gardendale’s First Church. Hamm comes to Gardendale from Valley View Church, Louisville, Ky., where he served as senior pastor since 1997. He also served two other churches in Kentucky as pastor. Hamm holds a doctorate in ministry from Southern Seminary in Louisville, Ky.; master of divinity degree from Mid America Seminary in Memphis, Tenn.; and bachelor’s degree in speech communication from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Ky. He and his wife, Kim, have three children.
