Gary Fenton is serving as interim pastor of North Shelby Church, Birmingham. Fenton, retired longtime pastor of Dawson Memorial Church, Birmingham, also leads leadership conferences nationwide and serves as senior advancement officer for Samford University in Birmingham. He and his wife, Alta Faye, have three children.
