Jake Goforth is the new media/missions minister of Gilliam Springs Baptist Church, Arab.
He served as a missionary with the International Mission Board for 10 years from November 2014 to December 2024.
He also served as youth pastor of Hillcrest Baptist Church, Franklinton, Louisiana, and pastoral intern at Dauphin Way Baptist Church, Mobile.
Goforth earned a bachelor’s degree in theology from the University of Mobile; a master of divinity in missions from New Orleans Seminary; and a master’s degree in Christian apologetics from Liberty University, Lynchburg, Virginia.
He and his wife, Deborah, have three children. Jamey Pruett is pastor.
