NASHVILLE — Contributions through the Southern Baptist Convention’s Cooperative Program (CP) in November 2003 totaled $15,941,639.51. This amount is 1.26 percent, or $202,847.70, below the amount given in November 2002, according to a news release from SBC Executive Committee President and Chief Executive Officer Morris H. Chapman.
As of Nov. 30, 2003, though, the year-to-date total of $31,684,550.02 for CP missions was $1,774,527.18 more than the $29,910,022.84 received at the same point last year.
For the SBC Cooperative Program Allocation Budget, the year-to- date total of $31,684,550.02 is 103.70 percent of the $30,553,851.66 budgeted, or $1,130,698.36 more to support Southern Baptist ministries globally and across North America.
The SBC operates on an Oct. 1 – Sept. 30 fiscal year.
