Golden Gate Seminary housing receives $200,000

MILL VALLEY, Calif. — With the sky-high cost of living in the San Francisco area, a $200,000 gift for refurbishing student housing at Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary’s northern California campus in Mill Valley is a welcome boost for affordable on-campus student housing.

The gift — from Strongtower Financial Inc., a church and faith-based lending and investment arm of the California Baptist Foundation — is a matching one, meaning the seminary also will provide a matching $200,000, bringing the amount for student housing renovations to $400,000.
