Good Hope Baptist Church, Dora, celebrated its bicentennial anniversary May 7. Special music was provided by the gospel quartet Awakened, and pastor Kerry Turner brought the message. Lonette Berg, executive director of the Alabama Baptist Historical Commission, and Jay Stewart, Alabama Baptist state missionary, made special presentations. The celebration concluded with lunch and afternoon singing featuring Awakened.
