Q: What led you to become a Christian?
A: [I] was brought up in a Christian home and taught early in age that was important in life.
Q: What led you to serve in the ministry?
A: It was a call … and I felt like I could serve and be glad to serve.
Q: What does the ministry demand?
A: We meet on a regular basis and we all have a certain membership of the church. We minister to those in a time of need or rejoicing.
Q: How do family members support you?
A: My mother was very supportive. She was a member (of Ebenezer Baptist) for many years. Having traveled that family member route, it was something that I wanted to do.
Q: How do you see yourself involved in ministry work in the future?
A: Probably sooner or later, we have a group of younger deacons and I will probably
step down and let them lead. I will always be a member of this church.
Q: What difference will this ministry make for you in the future?
A: I feel like each member of the church is interested in each other. I have done a lot for the church and as I get older I hope they do as I have done.
