Retired Alabama Baptist pastor Clyde A. Hartley died July 29. He was 77.
Hartley, a resident of Roanoke, spent more than 50 years in the ministry.
He got his start as a county missionary in the 1950s.
His last church was Mount Carmel Baptist Church, Guntersville, in Marshall Baptist Association.
Hartley, who was born in Greenville, was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by wife Eleanor, one son, one daughter and five grandchildren. (TAB)
