He Is All I Need

This small book by two Alabama Baptist pastors has a simple premise: He is all we need. Using Psalm 23 as a vehicle, Hardin and Locklear set out to provide “an encouraging and hope-filled journey” for the reader. 

The book unfolds the elements of God’s provision for us in chapters that examine the Psalm verse by verse, showing through interpretation and illustration just how God shepherds us in times of difficulty. Not new, not earthshaking, perhaps, but eminently reassuring. 

“He Is All I Need” is the kind of book that you read, shelve, then pull down later to re-read passages when you need comfort or reassurance that God is faithful to meet our needs. 

Hardin has retired after serving churches in Michigan, Kentucky and Alabama. Locklear serves as pastor of New Prospect Baptist Church # 2, Centre.
