Highland Church, Florence, new worship pastor Price

BJ Price is the new worship pastor for Highland Church, Florence. His first Sunday was Nov. 9 when the church voted to affirm the search committee’s recommendation. He previously served as associate minister of music for First Church, Trussville. He also led worship for the International Mission Board’s annual general meeting in 2008 and 2009. He holds a bachelor’s degree in music education from Jacksonville State University and is working on a master of divinity from New Orleans Seminary. He and his wife, Elaine, have three children.
