Highpoint Church, Eight Mile, staff change

Charlie E. York is the new pastor of Highpoint Church, Eight Mile. He comes to the church from Arnold Engineering Development Center in Tullahoma, Tenn. A Mobile native, he holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin, and is a student at Liberty Seminary in Lynchburg, Va. He also served 22 years in the U.S. Air Force. York and his wife, Vera, have one son and two grandchildren.
