NASHVILLE — The 180-year-old First Baptist Church in Nashville, has for the first time ordained a woman to the gospel ministry. She is Ryan Leigh Chambers, a graduate of Belmont University and Harvard Divinity School who is in training as a chaplain at the Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Nashville.
