ASHFORD — Alabama’s Barry Holcomb, pastor of Bluff Springs Baptist Church in Ashford, was elected first vice chairman by the trustees of the North American Mission Board during its May 7–8 meeting in Seattle.
Former first vice chairman Terry Fox of Wichita, Kan., was elected chairman for the coming year by acclamation. Fox is pastor of Immanuel Baptist Church in Wichita, Kan. David Crump, pastor of Aspen Park Baptist Church in Broken Arrow, Okla., was elected second vice chairman.
Trustees also approved 27 missionaries.
