Human Relations Conference set at Shocco

Seeking to reaffirm the Church’s role in a multicultural society, the Alabama Inter-Baptist Fellowship (IBF) is hosting its annual Human Relations Conference April 20–22 at Shocco Springs Baptist Conference Center in Talladega.

IBF is a statewide organization with representatives from the Alabama Baptist State Convention, Alabama State Missionary Baptist Convention, New Era Missionary Baptist State Convention and New Era Progressive Missionary Baptist State Convention. The group is also broken down into regional committees, which will meet during the conference.

Designed to promote interracial dialogue, cooperative efforts and love for fellow man, this year’s conference will allow for preaching and music by and dialogue with various ethnic groups. It will also provide information about cooperative ministries, church planting and exemplary churches that are working toward racial reconciliation.

To register for the conference, visit www.shocco.org/reser or call 1-800-280-1105.
