Hunter Street Church, Hoover, will hold Club Mom beginning Feb. 9, 9:30 a.m. Mothers of all ages will receive encouragement and practical help on issues facing today’s families. Each meeting will include a light brunch and guest speaker. Brenda Ladun, news anchor for ABC 33/40 and a breast cancer survivor, will speak Feb. 9, and Hal Threadcraft, Hunter Street’s associate pastor family ministry, will speak March 9. Club Mom will also meet April 13 and May 11. There will be no summer meetings, but Club Mom will resume in the fall. Child care will be available by reservation.
