The blue team of Hunter Street Baptist Church, Hoover, in Birmingham Baptist Association won the Baptist Men’s State Softball Tournament held Aug. 7–8, winning the title over 39 other teams who played that weekend at Lagoon and Fain parks in Montgomery. The annual tournament is sponsored by the office of men’s ministries of the State Board of Missions.
